Featured Nurse Educator: Donna Marie Tibay
Congratulations to Donna Marie Tibay for completing the Master of Arts in Nursing at Ifugao State University.
Donna is part of the Foundation's 2022 cohort of nursing faculty scholars and the first graduate of the Health Carousel Foundation's Philippines Nurse Educator Development Scholarship.
Donna has been teaching nursing students at the University of Baguio (UB) for six years. True to her commitment, she will continue to prepare the next generation of nurses and contribute to the development of nursing education at her university.
“Donna is a dedicated faculty member and very engaged in her work to teach and train students to become successful nurses. She is a great help in the university”, said by Dr. Helen Alalag, Dean of School of Nursing of University of Baguio.
In 2022, the Health Carousel Foundation (HCF) offered several scholarships to nursing faculty already working in various universities in the Philippines. These scholarships create more master's and doctoral-prepared nurse educators and improve the quality of nursing education in the Philippines.
